cleaning up disneyland

last sunday, me, yc n chris stayed back after all the meetings and started cleaning up the stuffs in disneyland. it felt like the tomb of 'siu keung' (cockroaches)!! we hard-ened our hearts and throw away a lot of stuffs that we've not used but can be useful. we threw about one lorry full of stuffs! hahahaha..... sorry picture too dark cos by the time we were loading into the lorry it was already dark and my phone camera can only do this. at least better than nothing kwa...
*if u don't know there's a disneyland in church, it's the storeroom at the backstairs. why is it called disneyland? u need to ask me personally. ahahhaa...... not appropriate to say it in public.
beef noodle in kl
ok. what does beef noodle got to do with eaglepoint? it does. when i took the mission team to my favourite beef noodle shop in kl!! hahaha... i took them to central market, then lunch, then chinatown and then sgwang/low yat. that took pretty much till 4pm. i was drop dead tired and after that i pick up pc, send her to sunway, drove to kota damansara to return ian's van, drop jay at 1u, went back to pick pc from sunway, went back aprt to download pc's mail so jasmine can start writing the script for the video and then went to pc's apartment to help her sort out over 900 wedding photos!! i think about the 900th photo, i dozed off in the middle of the discussion and suddenly woke up when she ask which one i'll pick! hahahaha....
so, thanks to Jay Low for hosting the mission teogether!
thanks to Ian & Mella Draper for entrusting me with his van.
thanks to PC for entrusting me by lending her wira to Jay to drive to town even though she felt it's an unsafe territory.
thanks to the mission team for daring enough to try everything i suggest to them. special note on nina for trying the 'cat's eyes' drink! ahahhaa...
thanks to max for helping me with the car arrangement at midnite the night before and after.
thanks to neil for taking the bus so i can borrow the car! haahaha....
so, the point is, many things cant be done alone even if we think we are heroes. the load once shared out, becomes lighter and easier to carry!

mission team from south africa
we had a team of accidental missionaries at malaysia all the way from capetown, south africa. they were enroute to myanmar but due to some visa entry issues, they ended up staying on in malaysia. the loss to myanmar is a gain to us! they helped run some LGs giving a fresh feel to our students and working adults. and yesterday, we Nina came and did an hour workshop for the dance class and we were tremendously blessed by her sweet spirit. she also shared her testimony and showcased a dance during the services. i'm sure the congregation was blessed.

after snl, the dance team was just going fellowship since jay is back for holidays (yahooo!!) and nina is around. we went to the makan-street at opposite ioi mall to eat "lok-lok". woooowwww...... it's been such a long time since the dancers hang out and truly we chat and eat and drink til almost midnite. ops.. i'm just praying that nina will not get stomachache though we said grace and prayed for protection earlier. hehehe...

Parenting Class
Last sunday, pastor tim and teresa, husband-wife-tag-team to teach on parenting class on behalf of community at heart. it was really really really interesting for me personally. listening to the testimonies and the woes of the parents about their children. hahaha.... they were as practical as they can be, openly sharing their own journey in parenting. it was most helpful!!

office outing - june 17
i think it's the first official office lepak-outing in my mind... not count those times where we go for birthday lunch or dinner lah.
so on june 17, we all leave office about 4pm, went to catch the 6pm movies at KLCC. some of us watched the ALIEN vs MONSTERS in 3D and those who do not fancy cartoons, went for STATE OF PLAY with Russell Crowe.
after that, we adjourned to Hotel Maya for buffet dinner! yahoooo....
we also celebrated the belated birthday of kel.
while everyone shared something about Kel, this is Kaz, trying to do a dance for kel. hahaha...
all in all, we had a a fun-ny time together.
sorry about the dark pictures. my phone camera got limitations. but i do welcome it if anyone would like to sponsor a better phone for better pictures for the blog... hehehe...

when the pastors are not around...
yesterday, we had a great time! hahahah...
pastor tim was away at me n my daddy camp.
pastor cat and kel and the 1a.m. band were away at Ipoh ministering.
pastor steven was away at a family retreat.
and we had a young and younger service - i mean literally!!!!
muah.. ha... ha...hahaha..
we had all the teens in the house...
we had the youngest preacher for snl.
wai foong song leading for the first time by herself.
hao ying sharing testimony with odd pieces of clothings
(it was last minute for her cos she was wearing sleeveless tee, shorts, slippers after the camp and if u are going on stage, those are all the no-nos, so she borrowed esther's shoes, someone else's jacket but shorts cant help it.. aahha... she's just funny!)
and it's my first time hosting!
it was pretty stressful... i was collecting offering, executing the service, hosting snl, making announcements (pc want it to be compelling to ppl kind of announcement), hosting hao ying for testimony, introducing the preacher of snl, sharing testimony at his message and locking up the church after the service... so i practically ran the service! it was stressful. u can see from the amount of scribbles at my order of service.
i wanted to shoot the service and show u but i was too stressed with the things i have to do that i forgot to shoot! hahaha...
i shared that to let you know that Max shared on the message of LIVING A LARGER LIFE and Alex preached about have imperishable goals in living a busy life!
just two things:
1. please join in sharing the load of building the house of God.
2. please encourage all the ppl that's building the house each day so that you have an experience every weekend.
