SNL - May 30 2009

If you missed SNL just now, u really did missed a lot!!

we had a surprise treat from Alarice! She showcased a song with her friend, Nigel.

and PC preached a tremendously heart-wrenching message about living a life with purpose and standing up for a cause worth living for, especially in the cause of upholding injustice. Many real life stories that she read and shared about how people were taken captive or sold as slaves, as prostitutes, were raped, beaten and tortured. Injustice is when you are already at a state of helplessness and weak and when u went to the people that were supposed to uphold justice with authority, they are the ones that take further trespass of you. one really cant help but be moved when heard of the stories that she shared. and that why 1a.m. is doing Change Your World Tour. to bring awareness about the human trafficking that is happening in our midst and to warn the young generations not to be taken captive.
If you have heard the truth, i hope you will do something about your poverty of compassion, poverty of passion and poverty of hope. We all need to.

Global Day of Prayer

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place –Acts 2.1

As dawn broke on the first Pentecost, Christians were gathered ‘all together in one place’.

On this coming Pentecost, many millions of believers will again be all together –but in many places –praying in one accord for the biblical hope of Christ’s glory and the transformation of all nations.

Last Tuesday, May 26, 10pm-12am, about a hundred of us came together in church to pray for seven areas for our land. All over the world, different churches take up various time slots from the east to the west, in a chain to pray.

It was a great time of praying together and time flew out of the space we were in, engaging in a spiritual battle. Do join us at next month's corporate intercession - every third tuesday of the month at 8pm. Prayer is the greater works....
