another post
i know i've not been posting a lot... so here's another random post of fun...
since the dance team decided not to head to kluang cos we were not ready by the week, we decided to take an 'off' from practising and have 'fat'-lowship instead. we got kfc (fatty food) and eat and laugh till our hearts' content.... cos no more rushing for kluang! hahahaha....
and here are the lovely ladies that helped to beautify the door gifts for G2KU. without their help, i would be a messed up case with so many things to do for the G2KU. all in all, it was quite a refreshing change but i'm still not satisfied with the overall outcome and is determined to improve my own improvement till i make my bosses proud!! hmph! =)

cyw kluang
last weekend, a group of us went to Kluang to make the Change Your World Concert happen.
it was inspiring to see so many youths gathered together to make a difference.
i had the honour of interviewing the students that ran the CYW Quest IN THEIR SCHOOL! and they shared that they just boldly went to as the teachers' permission to run the quest during the free period and from there, the teachers were so impressed that they took it on to the other classes and the outcome was many came to the concert.
although the H1N1 prevented some of the students to come, they were not deterred but collected money for one of the rep to buy the food for the Project Railway.
i can only give a glimpse of the whole picture as i was not there all the time but if u get a chance to hear from pc/kel u would hear outrageous stories on how the students were changed and how they came to have a heart for their own city - KLUANG.
Chris and Monica spearheaded the event. Although they were both not feeling well, they still packed their bags, came without complain and make the whole thing happened. and u know what?
every time i panicked, i whispered urgently into the walkie-talkie "CHRIS!! CHRISS!!" "CHRIS, CHRIS, CHRIS" and he strut down the aisle calmly and ask me what i want. hahahaha... and in the beginning, he stood with me to give me 'morale support' ahahahahha...
and monica hold her own as well, constantly, we would be hearing her jokes through the walkie-talkie, lightening the stressed ppl like me... hahahah. monica say that she's getting the tee shirt signed for neil's..... hehehe...
the photos are in random order yah... after the concert there is 'MEET RELENT' corner where they can get their albums signed... we guessed Jude has the most 'fans' cos his queue is always long but then it could also be caused it's the 'beginning of line'... ah but then it's also could be cos neil announced earlier in the concert that he already has a girlfriend.. so... i'm not making any conclusion.. ehhehe..
as the stage manager, i get to be at the 'backstage' with the band. and got the privilege to ask them pose for my small little phone-camera... hehehe....
i was given instructions to have the ladder there for joel to shoot...
then i noticed.. ohh.... (it dawned) for the cameraman as well... mmmm... learnt something new.
ok. this is priscilla. one of the participants in the concert and also i interviewed her nervous speech during the shooting. i WAS quite surprised when she asked me to take picture with her after the whole thing.... hahhaa.... but i forgot to ask for a copy but i easily found her blog and 'stole' my own picture... ahahha...

last weekend
mmm... someone just told me i've not been updating the blog oft enough. hahaha... ops. got caught. but good also. it shows there are ppl reading the blog.
recently i also saw someone referred to this blog as "eye-spy" ... ahhahaha.... new nickname. oh well.
last weekend, we had Footstool Players gracing our stage with their play, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" for SNL and a special session on Sunday 7pm. They were good. touching. makes u emo. talks about issues that are really relevant and sure hit you some way or other in your lifetime!
for SNL that night, it was JAMMED PACKED. i think we packed more than 200 pax into the hall and some of the students graciously gave up their seats to sit on the floor. and since i came down late, i went to seek out a space at the guest lounge. can see the hall is really full. and on sunday evening, there were lesser but nevertheless full house!
last sat also i had a miracle from God. i was at a point of desperation for a choreographer to help choreo a song for the cyw production. the thing is i need it done in a day. was giving up hope when i saw ivy in facebook. if you know ivy, she came before together and did a dance workshop
for us when she last came with the davao church mission team, so she's from davao, philippines!
back to the story, i saw her in facebook and
i said "hi"
she say, "i heard u r looking for a choreographer?"
i said casually, "yah.. u want to help??"
she say, "yah. i dont mind. i'm in spore now."
i cant believe my eyes!!!!
and so long story shorten, she came and taught the team the choreography for TILL ITS YOU, the song, in 5 hours and after that, helped me work on my testimony choreography till about 8pm and then we rushed down for the play. all in all both of us did about 8 hours of dancing, plus minus breaks here and there.
of course we woke up on Sunday aching like old ladies! but things are done and now we can concentrate on polishing the production! yahoo...
right at the time where i felt no way out, God made a way supernaturally! Thank you, God. u're the best! thank you, ivy, for giving your time, energy, talent and love to the team and the production. next time u come, i pamper u and not work u so hard! =) hehehe...
