*later i did question her... there were so many ppl in church, why lah shout my name... should have shouted jude jude flood flood or charlene charlene flood or even JIE JIE (bee sean) chan sui chan sui!!! hahahahahhaha.... when i reach youth room i was shocked to see the raining in the room! and we were already wading in about 2-3cm of water pool in the room. it was overflowing from youth room out to steven's space, pc's space, pastor's room and kel's room.
it was just water every where. and thank God some of the chinese church ppl were here. they all helped to take the things out from youth room to the cafe. every one were careful in walking cos some slipped and fell hard on the floor and got themselves all wet. dont know how best to describe it but it was raining (literally) from 4 ceiling boards from the door to the piano in youth room! then i strated calling the contractor and yelling "help! help!"
hahhaha.....
later when he came, he went up to the roof to check and then found that the 'runway' for the water to flow from the roof off to the side and down the building wall was blocked with a big piece of plastic and water was already 2 feet high up there. once he pulled out the plastic, all the water whooooshhed down the drain! just a simple solution but caused us all the hassle.
but then when the contractor went down to the sanctuary to take the tall stairs, they informed me that sanctuary is also leaking water from youth room! i rushed down and quickly put two big pail there. after dinner when i went to check on it, it became heavier and i had to put two more pails there. seeing everyone helping to shift things, i told them, "this is the non-profit organisation where we all join hands to make a positive change in Eaglepoint" hahahaaha.... and Agape said, "This is Station 4!!" ahahahah....

see that? that's bern wiping the floor. bern n brian came to pick bsean to dinner for his mom's bday and end up helping!
see the base of the paper box? that's how 'high' the water was in the room.
it'd been an eventful day, first, in the morning, the electricity wiring had some burning smell and we had to shut off upstairs electricity for a while for testing then the flood. After that we all went for a hearty dinner together.
during dinner when Charlene mentioned that leaking is really one of the worse, i told her "yeah! it's in my category of "i hate it". along in the same cateogory are 'renovation' and 'no money'." and everyone else agreed to the i-hate-it-no-money part. hahahaaha..
think about shifting all the things back into place is already a headache to me! jorr....
why lah... why??
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HELPED!
