In conjunction with our national day, August 31 (or close to it), KidZone went all out to teach patriotism to the kids.

Stepping up the stairs already made me incredibly proud with the flags along the stairs all the way up to the second floor and into the rooms! I heard that all the teachers involved were asked to come earlier at 9:30am to start decorating the place!
Even the name tags were specially printed! Impressive!
All the teachers came in costumes representing all the races we have in our country - baju kurung, cheongsam, the indian costume and Joey came shirtless representing Orang Asli.. complete with a styrofoam-spear!'Pengetua' Bee Kim dengan Penolong Kanan Mei Yen!
Right is Chris, Left is David. Can you believe that Chris is wearing David's samfoo??? jor! all the workouts at Fitness First is paying off! hahahaha...
The morning ended with posting up a giant Malaysia flag hand-painted by the children! And all these were brought to you by the immensely brilliant KidZone teachers team led by 'Mother' Bee Kim!!!

ReplyDeleteWow..the celebration must be great. It seems like everyone, Malaysians are united to be one people. Besides that, I did not know "ang mohs" loves to celebrate Malaysia Independant Day with Malaysians (hahahahaha). Way to go!
